What is the Food & Drink Passport?
The Passport is your digital NFT collection built on the Cardano blockchain (CIP-25 standard). Earn unique stamps for check-ins, purchases, and events, stored permanently on Cardano. It's your culinary journey, owned by you.
Can I cancel or change plan?
Yes, cancel any time in one tap from your profile. Paid plans auto-renew until you cancel. If your paid membership lapses for more than 30 days you'll revert to Basic and lose in-app Passport Viewer access, but your NFTs remain yours on Cardano forever.
How do AXP rewards work?
AXP (Atlas Experience Points) are earned through check-ins, competition tickets, content uploads, and challenges. 1,000 AXP = a £5 Atlas voucher, usable at venues and for competition entries. Students earn 2x AXP on everything.
What is Trinity AI?
Trinity is your AI-powered food & drink concierge. From Student tier upwards, you get Trinity text chat: ask for recommendations based on mood, dietary needs, or location. VIP members unlock Trinity Voice for hands-free, conversational discovery.
What is the Atlas Wallet?
The Atlas Wallet gives you access to ADA (Cardano), BTC (Bitcoin), and Spark (Bitcoin L2), all from within the app. Available from Student tier upwards, it's a non-custodial wallet meaning you own your keys and your crypto. Earn, hold, send, and redeem seamlessly.
How does the Student plan work?
The Student plan is £0.99/month and requires a verified .ac.uk university email. You get 2x AXP on everything, Atlas Wallet access, Food & Drink Passport NFT, Trinity AI text concierge, university leaderboards, campus heatmaps, and student-exclusive venue deals.
What happens to my NFTs if I cancel?
Your NFTs are stored on the Cardano blockchain and remain yours forever, regardless of your subscription status. However, if you revert to Basic, you will lose access to the Passport Viewer in the app. Upgrade again anytime to regain access to your collection.
Do I need a paid plan to book a table or buy tickets?
No. Booking a table, buying event tickets, browsing the Local Marketplace and buying or redeeming Atlas gift cards are free on every plan, with no booking fee and 0% Atlas ticket fee (venues pay only their own card-processing rates, never an Atlas markup). Memberships buy you rewards, the Atlas Wallet, the Passport and Trinity.
What is a punch card, and how is it different to AXP?
A punch card is a single venue's own loyalty scheme: buy a set number of items and the next one is free, stamped automatically when you check in. AXP is Atlas-wide points you earn across every venue and redeem at 1,000 AXP = £5. Punch cards work on every plan; AXP earning starts at Student.
Does Atlas work without signal?
Yes, from Student tier upwards. Offline mode caches your venues, Passport and punch cards, and queues check-ins made in a basement bar or rural pub. Everything replays automatically the moment you reconnect, with a conflict inbox if anything needs your call.
