You may appeal within 30 days by replying to that statement or contacting support@atlasfoodanddrink.com. Full details are published at /legal/online-safety.
7A. Content Policy — NFTs, AI & Digital Assets

- Sexual, explicit, or adult content of any kind
- Content depicting, targeting, or marketed to minors
- Intellectual property you do not own or have rights to use in minted assets
- Violent, hateful, or discriminatory imagery or messaging
7A.2 AI-Generated Content
AI-generated content (including text, images, and media created by artificial intelligence tools) must not be presented as factual reporting or genuine user experience. Users must clearly disclose when content has been substantially generated by AI. Misleading AI-generated reviews, endorsements, or venue descriptions will be removed and may result in account termination.
7A.3 Enforcement
Violations of this content policy will result in immediate content removal and may lead to account suspension or permanent termination at our sole discretion. Serious violations (including CSAM or illegal content) will be reported to the relevant UK law enforcement authorities.
7A.4 Venue-Specific Obligations
Venue owners are subject to additional content obligations set out in the Venue Partner Agreement (Section 25 — Acceptable Use & Content Policy). In the event of any conflict, the Venue Partner Agreement prevails for venue-related content.
7A.5 Venue Compliance Vault (Venue Partners only)
Venue partners using the Compliance Vault to store regulatory or operating documents are bound by the dedicated provisions in the Venue Partner Agreement (Section 9.7 — Compliance Vault). These cover prohibited content (e.g., DBS, NHS records, passport scans, payroll data), Controller/Processor allocation, retention defaults, audit logging, and audited signed-URL downloads. Consumer users are not affected by these provisions.
8. Public User Profiles
8.1 Profile Visibility
User profiles on Atlas are publicly viewable. Other users and visitors may see your display name, avatar, posts, reviews, badges, level, leaderboard ranking, and NFT Passport stamps. You are responsible for all content you make publicly available through your profile.
8.2 Information Displayed
The following profile information is visible to other users:
- Display name and profile picture
- Posts, reviews, and ratings you have submitted
- Badges and achievements earned
- XP level and leaderboard position
- NFT Passport stamps from venue check-ins
- Social connections (friends list)
Your email address, phone number, date of birth, and payment information are never publicly displayed.
8.3 Content Responsibility
You are solely responsible for the content you share publicly. Once submitted, reviews and posts are visible to all users. We reserve the right to moderate or remove content that violates our community standards.
9. Atlas Moments (Stories)
9.1 Story Content
Atlas Moments allows users to share short-lived photo and video content ("Stories"). Stories are visible to other users and automatically expire after 24 hours.
9.2 Content Guidelines
Stories must comply with our content standards (Section 7.2). Additionally:
- Stories may be tagged to specific venues
- Media uploaded to Stories is automatically deleted after 24 hours
- We reserve the right to remove Stories at any time for any reason
- We may retain anonymised analytics about Story views and engagement
9.3 Venue-Tagged Stories
When you tag a venue in your Story, the venue owner may see your Story and associated analytics (view count). Venue owners do not gain any rights over your Story content.
10. Trinity AI Voice Concierge
10.1 AI-Powered Service
Trinity is an AI-powered voice concierge that assists users with venue discovery, recommendations, and general enquiries. Trinity uses artificial intelligence and may not always provide accurate or complete information. You acknowledge that Trinity is an automated service and not a human representative.
10.2 Voice Recording and Processing
When you use Trinity's voice features, your voice input is processed by our third-party AI provider (ElevenLabs) to generate responses. By using Trinity, you consent to:
- Recording and processing of your voice input during conversations
- Storage of conversation transcripts for quality improvement and analytics
- Use of anonymised conversation data to improve the service
10.3 Personalisation and Memory
Trinity learns and remembers your preferences (dietary requirements, cuisine preferences, allergies) to provide personalised recommendations. This information is stored securely and used solely to enhance your experience. You may request deletion of your saved preferences at any time.
10.3A Data Retention
Conversation transcripts are automatically deleted after 90 days in accordance with our data retention policy and UK GDPR obligations.
10.4 Limitations
Trinity is provided for informational purposes only. You acknowledge that:
- Trinity does not provide professional, legal, medical, or financial advice
- Venue information provided by Trinity may not always be current or accurate
- Trinity cannot make binding reservations or transactions on your behalf unless explicitly stated
- We are not liable for any decisions you make based on Trinity's responses
10.5 Business Enquiries
If you are a venue owner enquiring about listing your business, Trinity may collect your contact information (venue name, name, email, phone number) to facilitate follow-up from our sales team. By providing this information, you consent to being contacted regarding Atlas partnership opportunities.
10.6 Location-Based Services
Trinity and other Atlas features use your device location to provide personalised recommendations:
- Automatic Usage: When location access is enabled on your device, we automatically use this to show nearby venues, calculate distances, and provide contextual suggestions
- No Storage: Location coordinates are processed in real-time and not permanently stored in your user profile
- Fallback: If location is unavailable or denied, we use your registered city from your profile for general recommendations
- Control: You may disable location access through your browser or device settings at any time. This will not affect your ability to use Atlas, but recommendations may be less precise
10A. Trinity Line — AI Telephone Agent (August 2026)
10A.1 What Trinity Line Is
Trinity Line is an optional venue feature that answers a venue's inbound telephone calls with an AI agent, and may place limited outbound calls relating to an existing booking, waitlist entry or call-back request. It can take reservations, takeaway orders, ticket and voucher enquiries, answer questions about the venue, and record a voicemail when it cannot help.
10A.2 Disclosure to Callers
Every answered call begins with a notice that the caller is speaking to an AI assistant and that the call is processed and summarised automatically. Callers may ask to be transferred to a person, leave a message, or end the call and use another channel. Venues must not disable, shorten or obscure this notice, and must not represent the agent as a human member of staff.
10A.3 Venue Obligations
If you enable Trinity Line, you agree that:
- You are the data controller for the content of calls to your venue, and Atlas acts as your processor under our Data Processing Agreement.
- You will comply with UK GDPR, PECR and the Privacy and Electronic Communications rules on call recording and monitoring, including displaying the notice we provide on your website and booking pages.
- You will not use Trinity Line for cold, unsolicited or automated marketing calls, and you will screen outbound numbers against the TPS/CTPS where applicable.
- You will keep the knowledge base, menus, allergen data, opening hours and pricing that the agent relies on accurate and current, and you remain solely responsible for allergen accuracy as the food business operator.
- You will review reservations, orders and voicemails the agent produces and honour or decline them promptly.
- You will handle caller data-subject requests you receive, with our support, and forward to us anything that concerns our infrastructure.
- You will not enable Trinity Line on a line used for emergency, safeguarding or medical purposes.
10A.4 Limits and Liability
Trinity Line is a best-efforts automated service. It may mishear names, numbers or accents, may misunderstand a request, and may be unavailable during telephony, network or provider outages. Atlas is not liable for lost bookings, lost covers, missed calls, misheard details, or consequential loss arising from agent error or downtime, save to the extent liability cannot lawfully be excluded. Nothing spoken by the agent constitutes a binding contract until the venue confirms it. The agent never takes card details on a call; payment is only ever taken through a Stripe-hosted Atlas Paylink or the venue's own checkout.
10A.5 Fair Use
Trinity Line is metered by call minutes and included allowance per tier as shown at the point of purchase. Atlas may throttle or suspend the feature where usage materially exceeds the allowance, where calls are being generated artificially, or where the feature is used in breach of clause 10A.3.
10A.6 Caller Data and Retention
Caller number, conversation summary and call reference are automatically redacted 90 days after the call; anonymous call statistics are retained. Voicemail recordings are deleted on the same cycle. Full detail, including the lawful bases and processors involved, is in section 4B of the Privacy Policy and in our AI Transparency Statement.
10A.7 Telecommunications and Marketing Law (Venues)
A venue enabling Trinity Line is the controller of its own calls and is solely responsible for complying with all applicable telecommunications and marketing law, including the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR), the UK GDPR, Ofcom's rules on silent and abandoned calls, and the Telephone Preference Service and Corporate TPS. Where a venue operates outside the UK, equivalent local rules apply (for example the EU ePrivacy Directive, the US TCPA and Telemarketing Sales Rule, or Canada's CASL).
- Trinity Line is provided for inbound hospitality calls. It must not be used for cold calling, automated dialling campaigns, call bombing, number harvesting, or any unsolicited outbound marketing.
- Where a venue does place or trigger an outbound call, obtaining and evidencing the recipient's valid consent is the venue's sole responsibility.
- Venues must retain their consent and opt-out records for at least five years, or longer where local law requires, and produce them to Atlas or a regulator on request.
- Venues indemnify Atlas against all claims, fines and costs arising from the venue's breach of this clause 10A.7, in addition to the general indemnity elsewhere in these Terms.
10A.8 Prohibited Uses of the Voice Agent
You must not, and must not permit any person to:
- configure, prompt or present the agent so as to deceive a caller into believing they are speaking to a named human being, or to imitate the voice of an identifiable person without that person's consent;
- use the agent to harass, defraud, threaten, sexualise or discriminate against any caller;
- use the agent to give medical, legal, financial or other regulated professional advice — such matters must always be routed to a qualified human;
- submit or invite callers to submit prohibited data to the agent, including full card numbers, bank account details, government identity numbers or health records; or
- use recordings, transcripts or synthesised audio from the service to train a competing AI or voice-cloning model, or to extract, reverse engineer or benchmark the underlying models.
10A.9 Model Training and Human Review
Atlas does not sell Trinity Line conversations, and does not permit its AI processors to train their foundation models on identifiable Atlas caller data. A limited number of authorised Atlas staff may review a call or transcript inside the 90-day window strictly to investigate a fault, a safety concern or a disputed booking, and every such access is written to our admin audit log. Where a caller asks not to be handled by an AI agent, the venue must offer a human alternative — Trinity Line always allows a caller to ask to be put through, to leave a voicemail, or to be called back.
10A.10 Accuracy of AI Output
All AI output on Atlas — voice or text, including Trinity, Trinity Line, pre-shift briefings, guest tags, suggested allergens and suggested review replies — is provided for informational purposes on an "as is" basis, without warranty of accuracy or completeness, and does not constitute professional advice. Where the written confirmation of a booking, order or ticket differs from what an AI agent said on a call, the written confirmation prevails. Suggested allergen data is marked "AI suggested" until a venue confirms it and must never be relied on as a safety assurance until confirmed.
10B. Automated Access, Scraping and Third-Party AI Agents
Except with our prior written permission, or where a bona fide search engine crawls us in accordance with our robots.txt, you must not use any robot, spider, scraper, headless browser, deep-link tool, generative-AI system or autonomous AI browsing agent to access, copy, index or monitor the Platform or its content, nor circumvent any rate limit, authentication or security control.
You must not use Atlas content — including venue data, menus, reviews, photographs or availability — to train, fine-tune or evaluate an AI model, or to build or benchmark a competing product.
If you instruct an AI agent or assistant to act on Atlas on your behalf, you are responsible for everything it does as if you had done it yourself, including bookings it makes, cancellations it triggers, messages it sends and fees it incurs. We may block, throttle or suspend automated traffic without notice.
11. Atlas Card, Blockchain Services & NFT Passport
11.1 Digital Wallet
The Platform includes access to Atlas Card, our digital wallet feature powered by the Cardano blockchain. By using Atlas Card, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
- You are solely responsible for maintaining the security of your wallet credentials
- Lost or forgotten wallet credentials may result in permanent loss of access to your digital assets
- We cannot recover lost private keys or reverse blockchain transactions
11.2 Cryptocurrency and NFTs
The Platform may involve cryptocurrency (ADA — Cardano) and non-fungible tokens (NFTs) as part of loyalty rewards and cashback features. You understand that:
- Cryptocurrency values are highly volatile and can decrease significantly
- Blockchain transactions are irreversible once confirmed
- NFTs and loyalty rewards have no guaranteed monetary value
- You are responsible for any tax obligations arising from cryptocurrency transactions
- Regulatory changes may affect the availability of blockchain features
11.3 NFT Passport
The Atlas NFT Passport is a digital collectible feature that records your venue check-ins as "passport stamps" on the blockchain. By using the NFT Passport:
- Stamps are minted on the Cardano blockchain (CIP-25 standard) and are publicly viewable
- Stamps are displayed on your public profile
- Stamps have no guaranteed monetary value and are for collection and display purposes only
- We reserve the right to modify the NFT Passport programme at any time
- Milestone badges earned through the passport programme confer no rights beyond recognition
11.4 No Financial Advice
Nothing on the Platform constitutes financial, investment, or trading advice. We do not recommend any particular cryptocurrency or investment strategy. You should consult a qualified financial adviser before making any financial decisions.
11.5 Cryptocurrency Payments
Users may pay for subscriptions, venue bills, and competition tickets using supported cryptocurrencies. The following terms apply:
- Supported cryptocurrencies: Cardano (ADA) and Bitcoin (BTC via Spark L2)
- Crypto payments are converted at the prevailing GBP exchange rate at the precise moment of transaction confirmation, sourced from one or more third-party market data providers (currently CoinGecko and Kraken) with a stored daily snapshot used as a last-resort fallback if all live providers are unavailable
- Transactions are irreversible once confirmed on-chain; Atlas cannot reverse or refund blockchain transactions
- A minimum payment threshold of £1.00 (GBP equivalent) applies to all crypto transactions
- Atlas is not responsible for overpayment or shortfall due to exchange rate fluctuations between initiation and confirmation
- All receipts and invoices are issued in GBP regardless of payment method. PDF receipts for confirmed crypto payments are available on demand from your profile (consumer purchases) or your venue dashboard (venue subscriptions)
- Atlas does not guarantee blockchain transaction speeds and is not liable for delays caused by network congestion, Layer-2 bridge availability, or third-party RPC outages
11.5.1 Crypto Payment Exception Remedies
Because blockchain transactions cannot be unilaterally reversed, Atlas operates a narrow exception-handling process for crypto payments. Exceptions are not refunds and are only considered in the following circumstances:
- Duplicate confirmed payment — where the same user (or venue) inadvertently completes the same purchase twice within a short window.
- Confirmed fraud — where credible evidence establishes that funds were sent without the account holder's authority.
- Regulator or legal order — where a competent authority compels a specific remedy.
Where Atlas determines an exception applies, the default remedy is:
- Venue subscriptions paid in ADA or BTC — an extension of the subscription end date by the equivalent annual period. No GBP or on-chain refund is issued by default.
- Consumer purchases (gift vouchers, competitions, event tickets, card skins) — an equivalent internal AXP credit. No GBP or on-chain refund is issued by default.
- On-chain refunds are only issued where explicitly required by a regulator or where Atlas, in its sole discretion, determines this is the appropriate remedy. On-chain refunds are issued at the original ADA or BTC amount sent (not re-priced at the date of refund) and are signed manually by treasury operators; they are not automated.
Atlas does not offer refunds, partial credits, or sub-extensions for:
- Venue subscription sign-ups (B2B annual contracts — see clause 12.7).
- Atlas Experience Points (AXP) purchases or top-ups.
- Rate movement between payment initiation and on-chain confirmation.
- User error in sending the wrong amount, wrong asset, or to the wrong network.
Every exception is recorded against the original payment with an immutable audit log entry (operator, reason, remedy and supporting metadata). Exception requests should be sent to support@atlasfoodanddrink.com with the receipt number and transaction hash.
12. Subscriptions and Payments
12.1 Subscription Services
Certain features of the Platform require a paid subscription. By subscribing, you agree to pay the applicable fees as described at the time of purchase.
12.2 Payment Processing
All payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your complete payment card details on our servers. By making a purchase, you agree to Stripe's terms of service.
12.3 Subscription Period
Annual subscriptions are valid for 365 days from the date of purchase and do not auto-renew — you will receive email reminders before expiry. Monthly subscriptions auto-renew each month until you cancel from your profile; cancellation takes effect at the end of the then-current billing month.
12.4 Atlas 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee (User Subscriptions)
In addition to your statutory rights under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, Atlas voluntarily grants a 14-day money-back guarantee on all paid user subscriptions (Traveller / Explorer, VIP, Student). You may cancel within 14 days of the initial purchase and receive a full refund to the original payment method, even if you have accessed premium features during that window. Atlas expressly waives the "immediate access" exception under Regulation 37 for user subscriptions.
To exercise this right, cancel from your profile using the in-app "Cancel & refund" flow, or email support@atlasfoodanddrink.com. Refunds are processed via Stripe within 14 days of the request; card issuers typically settle within a further 5–10 business days. On refund, your subscription is cancelled and your account reverts to the free (Basic) tier.
The 14-day money-back guarantee does not apply to: (i) venue subscriptions (see §12.7); (ii) competition and event tickets (see §13); (iii) gift vouchers (see §14 and the Refund Policy §5); (iv) any purchase settled in ADA, BTC or Spark (on-chain payments are non-reversible — see §11.5.1); (v) renewals of an already-refunded subscription; or (vi) accounts that have previously received a money-back refund.
12.5 Statutory Cooling-Off (Backstop)
Where the Atlas guarantee in §12.4 does not apply, your statutory 14-day cooling-off right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 remains in force to the extent required by law. Nothing in this Agreement excludes or limits your non-waivable statutory rights.
12.6 Refunds Outside the Cooling-Off Period
After the 14-day Cooling-Off Period has expired (or has been waived), refunds are not generally available. However, under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, if the digital content or service is not as described, not fit for purpose, or not of satisfactory quality, you are entitled to a remedy including repair, replacement, or refund.
All refund requests should be directed to support@atlasfoodanddrink.com. We aim to respond to all refund requests within 5 working days.
12.7 Venue Subscriptions (B2B)
Venue subscriptions (Silver, Gold, Platinum) are business-to-business (B2B) annual contracts governed by the Venue Partner Agreement. The 14-day consumer cooling-off period under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 does not apply to B2B transactions. Venue subscriptions are non-refundable once the Venue Partner Agreement has been accepted and payment processed. Venues may cancel to prevent renewal, but no refund or pro-rata credit will be issued for the remaining term.
12.8 Atlas Paylink (Card Guarantees Taken Remotely)
Where a booking, takeaway order or ticket enquiry is taken by telephone (including by Trinity Line), by message, or by a member of the venue's team, the venue may send you an Atlas Paylink — a one-time secure link to a Stripe-hosted page — to place a card guarantee or take payment.
- Card details are entered only on Stripe's hosted page. Atlas, the venue and Trinity Line never see, hear or store your full card number.
- A card guarantee authorises but does not charge your card. Charges only arise under the venue's published no-show or late-cancellation policy, which is shown before you confirm.
- Paylinks are single-use, tied to one booking or order, and expire if unused. Never enter card details from a link you did not request.
- Funds settle to the venue through Stripe Connect. The venue is the merchant of record for that transaction; Atlas is the technology provider and takes no commission on it. Stripe’s own standard processing fees apply to the venue, with no Atlas markup; the price shown to you is the price you pay.
- Cancellation and refund treatment follows the Refund & Cancellation Policy and clause 17A.3.
13. Prize Competitions & Draws
13.1 Nature of Competition
Atlas may operate prize competitions ("Draws") from time to time. These are prize competitions under UK law (Gambling Act 2005, Section 339) and are not lotteries. Entry requires correctly answering a skill-based question, making them lawful prize competitions.
13.2 Eligibility
To enter a Draw, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Be a resident of the United Kingdom
- Have a valid Atlas account
- Not be an employee, director, or immediate family member of Atlas Group Technologies Ltd or any associated company
13.3 Entry Requirements
To enter a Draw:
- You must correctly answer a skill-based multiple-choice question
- You must purchase one or more tickets at the stated ticket price
- Maximum ticket purchases per person are stated on each Draw page (typically 100)
- Ticket numbers are assigned sequentially upon successful payment
13.4 Free Postal Entry
A free postal entry route is available for every Draw, as required by UK law. To enter for free, send a stamped, self-addressed envelope containing your full name, email address, and the answer to the skill question to the postal address displayed on the Draw page. Postal entries must be received at least 7 days before the draw date. One free entry per envelope. Free postal entries receive one ticket with the same odds as paid entries.
13.5 Ticket Purchases & Refunds
Ticket purchases are non-refundable once the skill-based qualifying question has been answered and the entry confirmed. If Atlas cancels a Draw before the draw date, all paid entries are refunded in full. Tickets cannot be transferred, exchanged, or resold.
13.6 Winner Selection
The winner is selected at random from all valid entries (both paid and postal) after the stated draw date. The random selection process is automated and auditable. The promoter's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the outcome.
13.7 Prize Fulfilment
Regarding prizes:
- Prizes are as described on the Draw page and are non-transferable
- No cash alternative is available unless explicitly stated
- We reserve the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the original prize becomes unavailable
- Prize delivery timescales will be communicated to the winner directly
13.8 Winner Notification & Announcement
The winner will be notified via their registered email address within 7 days of the draw. If the winner does not respond within 14 days, we reserve the right to select an alternative winner. The winner's first name and city may be published on the Platform as required by UK competition law. By entering, you consent to this publication.
13.9 Cancellation & Postponement
We reserve the right to cancel, postpone, or amend a Draw if circumstances beyond our reasonable control make it necessary, or if there are insufficient entries to make the Draw viable. In such cases, all ticket purchases will be refunded.
13.10 Tax Obligations
Prize winnings may be subject to tax. The winner is solely responsible for any tax liabilities arising from receiving a prize. We recommend consulting a tax adviser regarding any tax implications.
14. Venue Listings, Customer Data & Marketplace
14.1 Venue Responsibilities
If you are a venue owner or representative registering a venue on the Platform:
- You confirm you have authority to list the venue

- You are the data controller for this customer data; we act as a data processor on your behalf
- You agree to our Data Processing Agreement, available upon request
- You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy and lawfulness of the data you upload
- You will only use this data for lawful purposes, including sending invitations to join the Platform
14.3 Marketing Communications (Including Email Campaigns)
Venues may use the Platform to send marketing communications (including email campaigns, push notifications, and birthday rewards) to customers who have opted in. Venues are solely responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable marketing and data protection laws, including:
- Obtaining valid consent under PECR (Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003) and UK GDPR before sending marketing emails
- Including a working unsubscribe mechanism in every marketing email (provided automatically by the Platform)
- Honouring unsubscribe requests promptly
- Not uploading or emailing purchased mailing lists without proper consent
- Ensuring email content complies with UK advertising standards
Atlas provides the email delivery infrastructure; the venue remains the data controller for their subscriber relationships and marketing decisions.
14.4 Venue Email Branding
Venues may configure custom email branding (display name, reply-to address, logo, brand colours). Venues are responsible for:
- Ensuring reply-to addresses are valid and actively monitored
- Managing any replies received at their configured reply-to address
- Not impersonating other businesses or individuals through branding configuration
14.5 Atlas Marketplace
The Atlas Marketplace allows venues to list products (food, drinks, merchandise, gift boxes) for customers to discover. Important terms:
- Atlas provides a listing and advertising platform only; Atlas is not the seller
- All transactions are between the customer and the venue directly
- Marketplace products are surfaced in two places: the platform-wide Marketplace search, and each venue's dedicated "Market" tab on its profile. Both surfaces show the same listings and are governed by these Terms.
- Atlas has no liability for product quality, availability, pricing accuracy, or fulfilment
- Atlas cannot process refunds or resolve disputes for marketplace products — customers must contact the venue directly
- Atlas reserves the right to remove listings that violate community guidelines or applicable law
- Venues are responsible for compliance with UK food safety, alcohol licensing, and consumer protection laws
- Advertised prices are for guidance only; actual prices are confirmed by the venue at point of sale
14.6 Age-Restricted Products
Products flagged as containing alcohol or other age-restricted items are clearly labelled with an "18+" badge. The venue is solely responsible for verifying customer age and valid photo ID upon collection or delivery. Failure to provide valid ID will result in a refund handled directly by the venue. Atlas has no involvement in age verification at point of collection.
14.7 Venue Marketplace Terms
Venues must accept the Marketplace Terms before listing products. By accepting, venues acknowledge sole responsibility for product quality, pricing, fulfilment, customer communication, refunds, and compliance with all applicable UK regulations including food safety and alcohol licensing.
15. Loyalty Programs & Rewards
15.1 Punch Cards & Stamp Ledger
Venues may offer digital punch cards ("Buy X, get one free") through the Platform. The card is set and funded by the individual venue; Atlas operates the stamp ledger on the venue's behalf. The following terms apply:
- Stamps are issued by Atlas against a verified visit or a scanned bill, and are subject to a per-visit allowance set by the venue. Stamps cannot be self-awarded.
- Stamps and completed cards are tied to your account. They are not transferable, have no cash value, and cannot be sold, exchanged or combined across venues.
- When a card is completed and the reward redeemed, the card recycles automatically so you can begin a new one. A redeemed stamp cannot be reinstated.
- The participating venue remains solely liable for honouring the reward. Atlas facilitates the ledger and the redemption record but does not supply the goods or services.
- If a venue leaves the Platform, it remains responsible for rewards already earned by its guests for the period set out in our venue agreement.
15.1A Offers, Deals & Claim Codes
Venues may publish offers, deals and boosts that you claim in the app and redeem in venue. Where a claim produces a code:
- The code is single-use, tied to your account, and valid only for the offer window and any conditions shown at the point of claim.
- The code has no cash value, is non-refundable, and cannot be exchanged, sold or transferred.
- A venue must honour a valid, unredeemed code presented within its window. Disputes should be raised with the venue first, then with us via our complaints route.
- Offer terms, availability and any stated allocation are set by the venue. Atlas facilitates the claim and redemption record but does not supply the offer and is not the merchant of record for it.
- We may void a claim where we reasonably believe it was obtained by fraud, automation, duplicate accounts or other abuse of the Platform.
15.2 Birthday Rewards
If you provide your date of birth, venues you have visited may send you birthday rewards. By providing this information, you consent to receiving such communications. You may opt out at any time through your profile settings.
15.3 Gift Vouchers
Atlas gift vouchers are Atlas-wide single-purpose vouchers redeemable across the Atlas venue network — never venue-scoped. VAT is charged on issue per HMRC VATSC30000. Gift vouchers are non-refundable once purchased — the purchase price is non-refundable in all circumstances, including unclaimed, unredeemed, lost or unused vouchers. By completing checkout you expressly consent to immediate supply of the digital voucher and acknowledge that you waive the statutory 14-day cancellation right under reg. 28(1)(b) of the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. Vouchers expire 12 months after issue, cannot be exchanged for cash, are non-transferable for cash, and lost or stolen codes cannot be replaced. Full details: Refund Policy §5.
15.4 Atlas Vouchers & Digital Settlement
Atlas Vouchers are GBP-denominated digital vouchers earned through AXP redemption (1,000 AXP = £5). The following terms apply to Atlas Vouchers:
- The underlying settlement technology uses the Cardano blockchain (ADA) to ensure transparency, security, and auditability of all voucher transactions
- When a user redeems a voucher at a participating venue, the venue receives the equivalent value in ADA (not GBP). Venues are free to hold, exchange, or spend received ADA as they see fit
- Venues are solely responsible for reporting voucher redemption income to HMRC in accordance with UK tax law
- Voucher balances are non-transferable and have no cash redemption value except as required by law
- Atlas bears the technology and transaction costs associated with voucher settlement
Atlas is committed to supporting venues with innovative and emerging payment technologies to enhance the customer experience and provide transparent, auditable settlement.
16. Gamification, AXP & Quests
16.1 Atlas XP (AXP) & Levels
The Platform features a gamification system where users earn AXP (Atlas XP) through activities such as check-ins, reviews, referrals, and completing quests. AXP contributes to your level and leaderboard ranking. AXP has no cash redemption value — it cannot be converted directly to cash or transferred off-platform. AXP may be redeemed for Atlas Vouchers at a rate of 1,000 AXP = £5, redeemable across the Atlas venue network as set out in §15.4.
16.2 Badges & Achievements
Users may earn digital badges for completing certain milestones (e.g., "Weekend Warrior", "Local Legend"). Badges are for display purposes only and confer no monetary value or special privileges beyond recognition.
16.3 Leaderboards
The Platform displays public leaderboards (Global, City, University) based on XP. By participating, you consent to your username and ranking being visible to other users. We reserve the right to remove users from leaderboards for suspected manipulation or violation of these Terms.
16.4 Quests
"Quest" and "challenge" refer to the same feature throughout the Platform.
16.4.1 Quest types
The Platform offers platform-issued quests (daily, weekly, monthly and special), venue-created quests (surfaced in the venue's "More" tab as Current Challenges), friend quests and university quests. Venue-created quests are set and operated by the venue; Atlas is not responsible for the venue's specific quest terms beyond the Platform-wide rules in this section.
16.4.2 Participation slots
The number of quests you may hold active concurrently is gated by your subscription tier. Users may join and drop quests within their slot limit; dropping a quest frees the slot immediately but forfeits any progress accrued on that quest.
16.4.3 Live tracking
Certain quests display real-time participant counts, countdown timers and progress indicators. These are provided for engagement only and may be delayed, cached or unavailable during service disruptions; they do not form part of the quest reward.
16.4.4 No monetary value
Quest rewards are paid in AXP. AXP has no cash redemption value; redemption for Atlas Vouchers is governed by §15.4.
16.4.5 Changes
Quest availability, requirements, participation slot limits and rewards may change at any time without notice. Venue-created quests may also be ended early by the issuing venue.
16.5 Quest Completion Anchoring (Cardano)
When you complete a quest, the completion is included in the next hourly Atlas Merkle-root batch and anchored to the Cardano blockchain (metadata label 1904). The anchored payload contains no personal information — only a salted one-way hash of your user ID together with the quest identifier, quest version, venue ID, completion timestamp and AXP awarded. You can independently verify any anchored completion at /verify/<tx_hash>.
If a completion must be revoked or amended (for example, in cases of fraud, duplicate awards, bug remediation or verified user request), Atlas will anchor a compensating event (quest_revoked or quest_amended) in a later batch. The original seal is never rewritten or removed, so the on-chain record remains a complete and accurate audit trail.
Anchoring is provided as a best-effort transparency feature. Temporary anchoring delays or the failure of a single batch does not affect the underlying AXP award or your rights under these Terms. Financial consequences of revocation are set out in the Refund Policy §9.
17. Interactive Games (Rock Paper Scissors)
17.1 Game Features
Trinity offers interactive games, including Rock Paper Scissors ("RPS"). Games are played via voice or text commands with results tracked on a dedicated RPS Leaderboard.
17.2 Fair Play
Game results are determined by randomised AI selection. We do not guarantee any particular outcome. Attempts to manipulate game results or exploit technical vulnerabilities may result in account suspension.
17.3 No Real-World Value
RPS games are for entertainment only. Wins, streaks, and leaderboard positions have no monetary value and cannot be redeemed for prizes, cash, or other tangible benefits.
17A. Wallet Tax Export, Bookings, Allergens & Identity (May 2026 Update)
17A.1 Multi-Chain Wallet (ADA, BTC L1, Spark L2)
The Atlas Wallet is non-custodial and supports Cardano (ADA) and Bitcoin (L1 and the Spark Layer-2 network). Atlas never has access to your private keys or recovery phrase. You are solely responsible for backing up your seed/recovery material before downgrading to Basic or deleting your account; lost keys cannot be recovered by Atlas. Network fees, congestion delays and L2 channel state are outside our control.
17A.2 Wallet Tax Export (Explorer+)
Explorer and VIP subscribers may generate a CSV tax export from their wallet. The export classifies on-chain transactions (Send / Receive / Staking / Delegation / Token movements) and attaches indicative GBP valuations sourced from CoinGecko's historical price API. GBP figures are rounded indicative values intended to assist your own bookkeeping; they are not tax advice and Atlas accepts no liability for use of the figures in any tax return. Tier eligibility is enforced server-side at the moment of export — downgrading after generation does not retroactively invalidate previously downloaded files.
17A.3 Booking Card Guarantees vs Deposits (Card-Only)
Most table bookings on Atlas use a card guarantee: your card is verified and authorised but not charged. The venue may capture a no-show / late-cancellation fee if you do not honour the booking, in line with the cancellation window shown at the time of booking. The word "deposit" is reserved for the small subset of bookings on a venue's full pre-payment policy, where funds are taken upfront and applied against your bill. Refundability for both is set out in the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
Card-only from August 2026. Table booking guarantees and deposits are taken exclusively by card through Stripe (in the app, on the web, or via an Atlas Paylink under clause 12.8). Cryptocurrency is no longer accepted for booking guarantees or deposits, and the previous ADA on-chain escrow route has been withdrawn. Crypto payments remain available for subscriptions, event tickets, gift vouchers and competitions through the web checkout described in clause 17A.9.
17A.4 Allergen & Dietary Information
Allergen and dietary tags shown on menus may be either venue-confirmed or AI-suggested. AI-suggested tags are clearly labelled and remain provisional until the venue explicitly confirms them; they must not be relied upon as a substitute for direct enquiry with the venue's kitchen staff. Users with allergies or specific dietary requirements remain responsible for verifying preparation, cross-contamination risk and ingredient lists with the venue before ordering. Atlas is not the food business operator and accepts no liability for adverse reactions arising from menu information displayed on the Platform.
17A.5 Age Verification & Zero-Knowledge Proofs
Atlas is an 18+ service. Your date of birth is mandatory at signup and is immutable after first save (changes require a manual review). Where supported, age may be verified via the Midnight network using zero-knowledge proofs — a cryptographic attestation that you are over 18 is recorded on-chain without exposing your DOB or any underlying personal data.
17A.6 Passkeys (WebAuthn)
Passkey (biometric / device-bound) sign-in is available inside the Atlas native iOS and Android apps. Passkeys are stored on your device and synchronised through your platform keychain (Apple iCloud Keychain, Google Password Manager); Atlas only stores the public key. If you lose access to all your passkey-enabled devices, you may still sign in with email and password.
17A.7 Live Broadcasts (Go Live)
"Go Live" enables real-time audio/video broadcasts via LiveKit's WebRTC infrastructure. By going live or joining a live room you acknowledge that streams are transmitted through LiveKit, may be moderated by Atlas, and that any content you broadcast must comply with Sections 6, 7 and 7A of these Terms.
17A.8 Creator Programme & UGC
Verified creators may earn AXP multipliers and commissions denominated in GBP or ADA for qualifying user-generated content (UGC). Creator commissions are governed by the Creator Programme terms surfaced inside the Creator Dashboard. By submitting UGC for promotion you grant Atlas the licence set out in Section 7.1 plus the additional right to feature the content in matchmaking, ROI reports and curated trails. In line with the ASA / CAP Code, creators receiving Atlas commission, multiplied AXP, gifted experiences or any other consideration must clearly label promotional posts using #ad, the platform-native Paid Partnership label, or an equivalent unambiguous disclosure visible before any "more" expansion. Atlas may demote, remove or demonetise posts that fail to comply.
17A.9 Web-Only Crypto Checkout
In line with Apple App Store and Google Play Store policies, all cryptocurrency-funded checkouts (subscriptions, event tickets, gift vouchers, competitions) are completed in your web browser via a secure redirect. The native mobile apps will hand off to the web flow when ADA or BTC payment is selected.
17B. Walk-In Queues, Waitlists, Squad Bookings, Weather Swaps & Location (September 2026 Update)
17B.1 Walk-In Door Queue — Not a Reservation
Some venues run a walk-in door queue that you can join in person by scanning the venue's door code, or that staff can add you to. Joining a queue is not a reservation and gives you no right to a table. Your position is held by the venue on a best-efforts basis and a table is only yours once staff seat you.
17B.2 Quoted Waits Are Estimates
Waiting times shown on your queue status page, in the app, or read out by Trinity are estimates only. They are produced from live queue length, party size, the venue's own settings and historic turn-times, and they may be adjusted up or down at any time. They are not a promise, and neither Atlas nor the venue is liable for a wait that turns out longer than quoted.
17B.3 Ready Pings, Claim Countdown & Auto-Lapse
When a table becomes available the venue sends a "ready" ping to your status page and, where you provided a mobile number, by SMS. You then have a short claim window (set by the venue, shown on screen) to confirm you are still there. If you do not claim in time the offer lapses: you keep your place in the queue, but after two lapsed offers you may be removed from the queue entirely. Message delivery depends on your network and device and cannot be guaranteed.
17B.4 Booking Waitlists
Where a service is full you may join a booking waitlist for a date and time. A waitlist entry is not a booking. If a table is released you may be offered it with a time-limited claim link; offers are made in the order the venue's rules determine and expire automatically if unclaimed.
17B.5 Queue & Waitlist Data
To operate a queue we process your first name, party size, an optional mobile number, and your position and timings. Where you are signed in, seating a walk-in may record a visit and, on Explorer and VIP tiers, award AXP under Section 15. Queue records are retained as set out in the Privacy Policy and are deleted or anonymised after the retention period; you may leave a queue at any time from your status page.
17B.6 Squad Bookings & Whose Turn It Is
Group ("squad") features may suggest whose turn it is to choose a venue, based on how many times each member has chosen before. These suggestions are social prompts with no contractual effect. A turn only counts once the table is actually honoured on arrival; a cancelled, released or no-show booking costs nobody their turn. The member who makes a booking is the person responsible for it, including any card guarantee, cancellation fee or no-show charge, regardless of whose "turn" it was.
17B.7 Table Preferences Are Requests
Where you ask for a particular kind of table (window, booth, terrace, garden, quiet, accessible or similar), that is a request. Atlas will try to match it automatically, but final table allocation always sits with the venue and a preference that cannot be met is not a cancellable fault.
17B.8 Weather-Triggered Indoor Swaps
If you have booked an outdoor table and the forecast for your booking hour is poor, Atlas may offer you an equivalent indoor table at the same time. Nothing moves automatically. The offer expires shortly before service, and accepting it re-checks live availability — if the indoor table has gone in the meantime you keep your original table. Forecast data comes from a third-party weather provider and may be wrong; a forecast, an offer, or the absence of one creates no right to a refund or to cancel outside the venue's normal cancellation terms.
17B.9 Arrival Confirmation
Venues confirm your arrival in the dashboard, or you may be checked in by QR code. Arrival confirmation is what releases a card guarantee, records the visit, credits AXP where eligible, and unlocks a verified review. A tamper-evident record of the fact of arrival may be included in the Atlas Cardano anchor described in clause 17A; that record contains no personal data.
17B.10 Location Data
Some features (nearby discovery, arrival prompts, queue proximity, check-in verification) use your device location. Location access is optional, is requested only when the feature is used, and can be withdrawn at any time in your device settings — the rest of the Platform continues to work without it. We do not sell location data, and we do not track your location in the background.
18. Intellectual Property

Upon termination, your right to use the Platform will immediately cease. If you wish to terminate your account, you may do so by contacting us or using the account deletion feature in the Platform settings. Note that any digital assets in your wallet should be transferred before account deletion.
22.1 Account Deletion Grace Period

If you have enabled two-factor authentication (2FA) via SMS, you acknowledge that by providing your phone number you consent to receiving OTP codes via SMS. You may disable 2FA at any time through your profile settings, which will also withdraw your SMS consent.
23. Governing Law and Disputes

24. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion. By continuing to access or use the Platform after revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
25. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held to be unenforceable or invalid, such provision will be changed and interpreted to accomplish the objectives of such provision to the greatest extent possible under applicable law, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
26. Mobile App (Apple App Store & Google Play)
When you install or use the Atlas native iOS or Android app, additional terms apply, including incorporation of the Apple Standard EULA / Google Play Terms, no in-app digital purchases (all paid checkouts complete in your web browser), device permission rationales, 18+ age rating, cryptocurrency disclosure under Apple Guideline 3.1.5(b), App Tracking Transparency (Atlas does not track), and an in-app account-deletion path. The full Mobile App Terms are published at /legal/mobile-terms and are incorporated into these Terms by reference. Apple and Google are third-party beneficiaries of those Mobile App Terms and may enforce them against you.
27. Online Safety, AML & Crypto Compliance
